Safety above all
Every rental comes with the basic insurance you need to drive in Norway. If you would like to lower the amount you are liable for in case of damage, you can add extra cover when you book.
CDW is included in the rental price. It limits what you pay for damage to the vehicle to a fixed amount: the excess.
Third-party cover and basic personal accident insurance are included by default, as required by Norwegian law.
The excess is the most you pay per damage incident with the insurance you have. It depends on the vehicle, and you'll see it before you pay.
At pick-up, a hold corresponding to the excess is placed on a credit card. It is released once the vehicle is back in the same condition and the final account is settled.
It offers the same coverage as the CDW insurance, but the amount you are liable for is reduced. The options and the remaining excess depend on the vehicle: you'll see them when you book.
The excess, the deposit and the price of extra insurance depend on the vehicle: you'll see the exact amounts while booking, before you pay. No insurance covers damage to the underside or the tyres, or damage from driving off-road or through water. More details in our Terms and Conditions.

Customize your ride
In addition to the standard equipment that comes with each vehicle, there is a variety of extras to make your trip more comfortable. These are some of the ones you can add.
Go as far as the road takes you. With motorhomes, you should not drive more than 400 km per day.
The 25% local VAT is already included in all our prices.
All customers have access to roadside assistance around the clock. The phone number is in your rental agreement.
The standard agreement covers one driver. With this extra you can add more. Depending on the vehicle, an additional driver may already be included.
A satellite navigation system, so that you don't have to rely on the map alone.
All children under 135 cm must travel in a child seat. Tell us your child's height and weight so that the right seat is ready for you.
Converts the 12 V power from the vehicle's battery into mains power for your devices. Not available with all models.
Save space in your luggage: the pack includes a blanket, a pillow, sheets and covers.
Towels for your trip (motorhomes only): one large and one small towel, depending on the vehicle.
One table and enough chairs for all your passengers: ideal for picnics and late-night barbecues.
For maximum traction when you drive on ice and snow.
A complete set of winter tyres for the cold season. In Norway your vehicle must have tyres suited to the conditions, so winter tyres are needed whenever there is snow or ice on the road.
Which extras are available, and their price, depends on the vehicle: you'll see them while booking, before you pay. Most extras can also be added at pick-up.
